Memento Mori — Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Overview

Memento Mori is a life-visualization, journaling, and reflection app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

What we collect on our servers

Nothing. We do not operate a backend. The app does not transmit your birth date, journal entries, milestones, people, or any other information to us or any service we control.

Where your data lives

Analytics and tracking

We do not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat as a third-party SDK to receive anonymous purchase receipts and entitlement state. RevenueCat may collect a pseudonymous user identifier ("$RCAnonymousID") and your purchase history, used solely for app functionality (knowing whether your subscription is active). It is not linked to your identity and is not used for cross-app tracking.

Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device — daily quote, Sunday journal nudge, milestone reminders, overdue-visit nudges. These are scheduled locally; nothing is transmitted off-device.

Children

The app is intended for users 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
